Nimbus Cleaner
This Privacy Policy explains how Nimbus Cleaner handles information when the mobile application is used.
App Overview
Nimbus Cleaner provides phone cleaning and device review tools, including junk file review, large file review, WhatsApp-related file review, similar photo grouping, photo privacy metadata review, photo compression, software/app management, notification review, battery information, speaker cleaner, and reminder notifications.
Nimbus Cleaner is designed to process most information locally on the user's device.
Information Accessed or Processed
Depending on the features used and the permissions granted, Nimbus Cleaner may access or process the following information on the device:
Files, photos, videos, and audio
Nimbus Cleaner may access device storage, media files, file names, file paths, file sizes, file types, modified dates, thumbnails, and similar file metadata to:
- scan and display junk files;
- find large files;
- review media files;
- group similar photos;
- compress selected photos;
- review WhatsApp-related media and cache files;
- delete or modify files only after user confirmation where applicable.
Photo privacy metadata
Nimbus Cleaner may read photo metadata, including GPS-related EXIF metadata, to help identify and remove location-related metadata from selected photos.
Installed apps and package information
Nimbus Cleaner may access installed application information, such as app name, package name, icon, install time, app size, and related app details, to provide software management and app review features.
Notifications
If notification access is enabled, Nimbus Cleaner may read notification information from the device notification tray, such as the posting app, notification title, notification text, timestamp, and notification key, to help review and clear notifications in one place.
Notification review data is used to provide the notification cleaning feature. Notification access can be disabled at any time in Android system settings.
Battery and device information
Nimbus Cleaner may read battery status, battery level, charging state, voltage, temperature, and device display information to show battery and device status features.
Network and app operation information
Nimbus Cleaner may access network status and Wi-Fi state to support app operation and future online services. The application does not require account registration.
How Information Is Used
The information described above is used to:
- provide cleaning, scanning, review, compression, and reminder features;
- display files, apps, photos, notifications, and device status;
- perform actions requested by the user, such as deleting selected files, clearing selected metadata, compressing selected photos, or opening app management settings;
- improve app reliability and diagnose app behavior through local logs or non-personal event logs where applicable;
- comply with legal, security, and platform requirements.
Local Processing
Nimbus Cleaner is designed so that file scanning, photo grouping, photo compression, photo privacy metadata review, notification review, app list review, and battery status review are processed locally on the device.
Nimbus Cleaner does not require an account and does not intentionally upload personal photos, media files, notification contents, installed app lists, or file contents to a server.
If future versions add cloud services, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash reporting, or other third-party services, this Privacy Policy and any required Google Play disclosures should be updated before those services are used.
Permissions Requested
Nimbus Cleaner may request the following Android permissions:
- Storage and media permissions: to scan and display files, photos, videos, audio, and junk items.
- All files access, where required by Android version and feature: to review and manage files across shared storage for cleaner features.
- Notification permission: to show reminder and foreground notifications.
- Notification listener access: to review and clear notifications when the notification cleaner is enabled.
- Query installed packages: to display installed apps for software management and app process review.
- Request delete packages: to help uninstall apps through Android system flows.
- Network permissions: to check connectivity and support app operation.
- Foreground service permission: to keep reminder or resident notification features available when enabled.
Permissions can be denied or revoked in Android system settings. Some features may not work without the relevant permission.
Deletion and User Control
Users control the actions taken in Nimbus Cleaner. Files, photos, app information, notifications, and metadata are shown for review before supported cleanup actions.
When files are deleted or metadata is removed, those actions may be permanent depending on Android system behavior and device storage state. Selected items should be reviewed carefully before confirmation.
App data can be cleared, permissions can be revoked, and Nimbus Cleaner can be uninstalled through Android system settings.
Data Sharing
Nimbus Cleaner does not sell personal information.
Nimbus Cleaner does not share personal photos, files, notification contents, or installed app lists with third parties for advertising or profiling.
Information may be disclosed if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or Nimbus Cleaner.
Third-Party Services
The current app build reviewed for this policy does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, Firebase, or account login services.
If third-party services are added in the future, those services may process data according to their own privacy policies. This Privacy Policy and in-app disclosures should be updated where required.
Data Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information handled by Nimbus Cleaner. However, no mobile application, device, or electronic storage method is completely secure.
Because many features operate locally, protecting the device, screen lock, and system account is important for protecting files and notifications.
Children's Privacy
Nimbus Cleaner is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. Nimbus Cleaner does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a child is believed to have provided personal information, contact the email below so appropriate steps can be taken.
International Users
Information may be processed on the device and, if future online services are added, may be processed in countries or regions other than where the user lives. Such processing should follow applicable law and this Privacy Policy.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When material changes are made, the effective date will be updated and, where required, additional notice may be provided in the app or through other appropriate means.
